Michael Kosta
Michael Kosta is a Los Angeles-based stand-up comedian.
Comedy
Kosta's comedy has been seen on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,[1] Conan, and Chelsea Lately. In January 2011 Comedy Central aired a half-hour special featuring Kosta called Comedy Central Presents: Michael Kosta. He has also made appearances on TruTV's World's Dumbest ... and at the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival. Kosta shot a pilot with Comedy Central called Overloaded with Michael Kosta in fall 2011,[2] but as of October 2012 it has not been broadcast.
Tennis
Kosta is a former professional tennis player with a career high ATP Tour ranking 864. [3] He played four years at the University of Illinois and won four Big Ten Championships.[4] Kosta has written a book on tennis called "101 Tips for Winning More Tennis Matches"[5]
Champion
Champion is his live CD recorded at the House of Comedy in Minneapolis, MN. Champion has 15 tracks including a 25 minute interview with his parents.
Crowd Goes Wild
Michael Kosta was a panelist on Fox Sports 1's afternoon talk show "Crowd Goes Wild." He provided opinion and commentary, and did sports comedy features like "This Week in Punting," a weekly segment that was devoted to a punter that had a noteworthy performance the weekend before, or "Pardon the Contradiction" where he and cohost Katie Nolan "argued against themselves." The show was cancelled in April, 2014. [6]
