Michael McNamara is a former player and captain for Sligo Rovers.[1] He currently plays for the Sligo. In his first year with the Sligo Gaelic football team, they won the Connacht Championship for the first time since 1975 after beating Galway. A former member of the Arcadia Broncos lacrosse team, McNamara takes the aggressiveness of being a lacrosse defender to the pitch.
