Michal Čekovský (born June 17, 1994) is a Slovak college basketball player for the University of Maryland.
College career
After one year with the Canarias Basketball Academy, Čekovský committed to Maryland in 2014.[1]
Professional career
With the club Považská Bystrica from Trenčín Region, he won the junior national championship of Slovakia for 2010/2011 season, and with senior team he came to the semifinals of the national championship of Slovakia. He was named the most promising young player in the Slovakia national championship in the season 2010/2011. On June 24, 2011, he signed a contract with the Serbian team Partizan Belgrade.[2]
International career
Michal was a member of the U16 Slovak National team at the 2009 European Championship Division B in Portugal.
