Michel Leclercq (born 1938/1939) is a French billionaire businessman. He is the founder and 40% owner of Decathlon Group, a sporting goods retailer.
Early life
Leclercq was born in France.[1] His cousin, Gérard Mulliez (cousin), is the founder of the Auchan department store chain, and the Mulliez owns another 40% of Decathlon.[1]

Leclercq founded Decathlon Group, a sporting goods retailer, in 1976.[1]

Personal life
He is married with four children, and lives in France.[1]
His wife, Marie-Claude Leclercq, is a psychotherapist, and represents the family on the council of the Decathlon Foundation, started in 2005.[2]
