Michel Robert (24 December 1948, Corbelin) is a leading French international Grand Prix show jumping equestrian. He was born on 24 December 1948 in Corbelin. Michel Robert started riding at the age of four on a sheep, complete with saddle and bridle. He advocates a style of riding based on "respect for and harmony with the horse." He began his career in eventing, and later specialized in show jumping. In October 2013, he announced his decision to retire from Grand Prix level competition. On January 1, 2014, he was awarded the French Legion of Honour. He was the final winner of the Global Champions Tour for 2009.[1] He is a two-time Olympic equestrian.

1982: Gold medal team and individual bronze at the World Championships in Dublin in Ireland with Ideal Hague.
1986: Bronze medal in the team jumping world championship obstacles to Aachen in Germany with La Fayette.
1987: silver medal team at the European Championships in St. Gallen in Switzerland with La Fayette.
1988: Bronze medal team at the Olympics in Seoul in Korea with La Fayette.
1989: silver medal in team show jumping European Championship Rotterdam in the Netherlands with Lafayette.
1992: Bronze medal team at the Olympic Games of Barcelona in Spain with Nonix.
1993: individual silver medal and bronze medal team at the European Championship Gijon in Spain with Sissi de la Lande ; individual gold and team in the Mediterranean Games in Perpignan in France with Sissi de la Lande .
1994: Individual and team silver medal at the World Championships in The Hague in the Netherlands with Sissi de la Lande.
1997: individual gold and team at the Mediterranean Games in Bari in Italy with Auleto.
2000: selected for the Olympic Games in Sydney with Auleto.
2003: silver medal in the team event of Jumping European Championship Donaueschingen in Germany Galet Auzay; gold medal in the championship of France Pro 1 with Pebble Auzay, member of the team winner of the Samsung Super League Cup.
2004: Member of the winning team of the Samsung Super League.
2006: selected Show Jumping World Championships of Aachen in Germany with roller Auzay.
2007: winner of the Grand Prix World Cup of Bordeaux in France with Roller Auzay.
2008: winner of the Top Ten in Brussels with Kellemoi Pepita.
2009: winner of the final of the Global Champions Tour in Doha ( Qatar ) with Kellemoi Pepita
2011: silver medal team at the European Championships in Madrid in Spain with Kellemoi of Pepita
2012: winner of the Grand Prix of Bordeaux with the pie mare Catapult; winner of the Hermes jump in Paris with Catapult
