Mikael Lindström

Jan-Mikael Lindström (born 1944) is a Swedish diplomat, currently serving as the Ambassador of Sweden to China (since October 2006) and Mongolia. Previous postings include:

Prior to 1989 he had postings with the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Washington DC, Paris, Rabat and Stockholm.

Mikael Lindström was born in the Municipality of Solna (outside Stockholm) on 20 August 1944 to Monica Lindström (deceased in 2007) and Jan-Gunnar Lindström (deceased in 1969). He is married to Kerstin Lindström (née Davidsson) and has three children.
