Mike Dahlquist (born June 23, 1987), better known as Mike Diva, is an American film and music video director, special effects artist, and YouTube personality.[1] In 2012 Diva collaborated with other YouTube stars Joe Penna, Tay Zonday, Corridor Digital and DeStorm Power to create the YouTube group and channel BAMMO.[1]
Career
Diva has participated in interviews with New Media Rockstars,[1] SanDiego.com,[2] and Fuse.[3]
He has created several popular videos such as Kill The Noise and Kali 47 among others.[2][4][5][6][7]
Diva also appeared as Bruce Lee in episode 25, "Clint Eastwood vs. Bruce Lee", of the web series Epic Rap Battles of History.[8]
He was programmer and lead singer for the band "Vyncent Flaw" alongside keyboardist "Maxx Jenga". In 2012 he abandoned the original band name and now makes music under the name Mike Diva.[9]
He has made official music videos for 3OH!3,[10] Kill the Noise,[11] Peter Pepper,[12] The M Machine,[13] and Mindless Self Indulgence.[14] Most of his music is currently on soundcloud; songs include BFD (Ben Franklin's D***) and GameFire v1.[15]
In 2014, Diva was listed on New Media Rockstars Top 100 Channels, ranked at #77.[16]
