Mike Williams (journalist)

Mike Williams (born 4 February 1979 in Wrexham), is a Welsh journalist and current editor of the NME.[1] Williams studied at University of Wales, Aberystwyth,[1] before launching the independent music magazine Kruger,[2][3] which closed in April 2010.[4] Williams joined NME as Features Editor in September 2010, was promoted to Deputy Editor in July 2011,[2] and replaced Krissi Murison as Editor in June 2012.[5][6] He was named Editor Of The Year at the 2009 Record Of The Day Awards.[7]
