Milano Bovisa-Politecnico railway station (Milan)

Milano Bovisa-Politecnico is a surface railway station in Bovisa, Milan, Italy. It opened in 1879 and is now part of the Milan Passante railway and one of the key nodes of the Milan suburban railway service and of the Trenord regional network in northern Lombardy. The station is located on Piazza Emilio Alfieri.

The station serves the Bovisa neighborhood, in the north-western part of Milan municipality, and in particular the Bovisa Campus of the Politecnico di Milano, one of the most important technical universities in Italy. The original name Milano Bovisa was changed to the current in the 2000s due to the newly established Politecnico campus.

The station is served by lines S1, S2, S3, S4 and S13 of Milan suburban railway service, by the regional lines Milan–Canzo/Asso, Milan–Saronno–Como, Milan–Saronno–Novara and Milan–Saronno–Varese–Laveno, and by Malpensa Express.
