Milho frito (fried corn in English) is a typical Madeira side dish made of corn, kale or collard greens (finely sliced), water, garlic and olive oil mixed together and then fried. It is usually served with Espetada and other regional dishes in Madeira. It is usually cut into cubes and fried, it can be said to be similar to polenta but is a traditional side dish in Madeira.[1]
