Minal Hasan
Minal Hasan is a Silicon Valley venture capitalist. She is the founder, General Partner, and Managing Partner[1] of K2 Global, L.P.,[2] a venture capital firm focused on technology investments[3] that has the backing of prominent Asian investors.[4]
Previously, she was an attorney at Pillsbury Winthrop LLP[5] and Fenwick & West LLP.[6] Minal is also a Vice President at Stanford Angels & Entrepreneurs.[7]
Minal was born in Stanford, California. She went to Castilleja School in Palo Alto. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Southern California and her graduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. Minal frequently speaks and contributes on the topics of venture capital and technology[8][9][10]
Venture Capital
K2 Global has attracted a number of marquis billionaires as investors in the firm, and combines venture capital and private equity concepts to provide capital as well as strategic value to the technology companies that are set to change global business models.[11][12][13]
K2 Global is rapidly expanding, with partners in Singapore and Silicon Valley. It has already invested close to $50 million in tech companies.[14]
