Minar Rahman, known as Minar.[1] He is a Bangladeshi singer, Lyricist, Composer, actor and Cartoonist.[2]

Early life and education

Minar brought up at Dhaka as well as chittagong. He started learning piano when he was studying in standard 7. Minar started working as a cartoonist when he was studying in standard 10. He joined Most popular satire magazine of Bangladesh "Unmad" as cartoonist in the year of 2008.[3]

Personal life

Minar's date of birth was 26 December. Minar's father is Late Mohammad Azharul Islam and mother is Nilufar Islam. He is younger son of his family.

Musical journey

Minar started his musical life by inspiration of his father. When he was in class four he wrote his first lyric and when he in class eight he learned playing keyboard. When he was in class ten he started composing. He think the lyric is the major part of a song. His first solo album "Danpitey" which composed by Tahsan released on 2008, and second solo album "Aari" released on 2011. His last solo album "Aha Re"[4] released on 6 June 2015. In 2013 he works on a mixed album which is "The Hit Album 4". Minar also works for some Teleflim.

Minar worked at Grameenphone IT department. The theme song and background of "FnF" by Redoan Rony was done by him. He also performed some songs from James blunt, Coldplay,Bryan adams, Sting, Switchfoot, Eagles and many others as well as his own tracks at live.
