Minister for the Public Service
The Minister for the Public Service was a senior post in the Government of Ireland, it was created by the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1973. In March 1987 the minister's functions were transferred to the Minister for Tourism and Transport after the department was amalgamated.
