Ministry of Agricultural Development and Food (Greece)
The Ministry of Agricultural Development and Food (Greek: Υπουργείο Αγροτικής Ανάπτυξης και Τροφίμων) is the government department that oversees agriculture in Greece. The current minister is Evangelos Apostolou of Syriza.
History
The Ministry was formerly known as the Ministry of Rural Development and Food from 2001 to 2015. During the First Cabinet of Alexis Tsipras, the ministry was headed by an Alternate Minister, and in the Second Cabinet of Alexis Tsipras, the Ministry was refounded as the Ministry of Agricultural Development and Food.
