Minister of Family Services and Consumer Affairs (Manitoba)

The Minister of Family Services and Consumer Affairs was a cabinet minister in the province of Manitoba, Canada. The position was created in 2009, when newly appointed Premier Greg Selinger created a new department of Housing and Community Development and the former Minister of Family Services and Housing was assigned the dual responsibilities of Minister of Family Services and Minister responsible for Consumer Affairs.[1]

In 2012, the functions of this portfolio were redistributed between the Minister of Family Services and Labour and the Minister of Healthy Living, Seniors and Consumer Affairs.
