The position Minister of State at the Department of Energy and Climate Change is currently held by The Rt Hon Andrea Leadsom, MP for South Northamptonshire. She became Minister of State on 11th May 2015, after taking over from Matthew Hancock. This post should not be confused with Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change.
