Minister of State for Trade and Development
The Minister of State for Trade and Development was a junior ministerial post in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Government of Ireland. From 2002 to 2011 the office was titled Minister of State for Trade and Commerce. The Minister worked together with the senior Minister in this department and had special responsibility for all affairs in relation to trade and development. The Minister of State did not hold cabinet rank.
The position was abolished in July 2014.
