The Ministry of Traditional Industries and Small Enterprise Development is the Sri Lankan government ministry responsible for β€œTo provide policy guidance and facilitation to Traditional Industries, SMEs and Handicraft Sector to produce world class products that can compete locally and internationally and generate employment and income to the rural poor and contribute to strengthen the home based backyard economy, poverty reduction, equitable regional development, balanced and inclusive growth and social development.”
