Ministry of Works and Transport (Uganda)
The Ministry of Works and Transport is a government ministry of Uganda. Its head office is in Entebbe. The Ministry of Works and Transport has a mandate to plan, develop and maintain an economic, efficient and effective transport infrastructure; &transport services by road, rail, water, and air. They are also mandated to manage public works including Government Structures and promote standards in the construction industry. The Mission of the Ministry is "to promote an adequate, safe and well maintained public works and transport infrastructure and services so as to effectively contribute to the socio-economic development of the country[1][2]
