Mircea Baniciu (Romanian pronunciation: [ˈmirt͡ʃe̯a baˈnit͡ʃju]; born 31 July 1949 in Timişoara) is a Romanian musician. He plays with the bands Transsylvania Phoenix and Pasărea Colibri.
While playing with Phoenix, Mircea Baniciu also earned a BA in architecture.[1] Baniciu is not married and has two children: Ana and Victor.[2]
