Miriam Friedlander

Miriam Friedlander was an American politician from the Bronx who represented the city council district in New York City's Lower East Side and Chinatown from 1974 to 1991. In the primary election of the Democratic Party she defeated Sheldon Silver.

She was born in Pittsburgh in April 1914 and died in 2009.[1]
