Mirza is a town in Kamrup rural district of Assam, situated in south bank of river Brahmaputra.[1] Its 28 kilometres from the city of Guwahati.
Education
Private Engineering institute NITS Mirza is located here. It offers Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Technology (BTech) courses under Gauhati University and Assam Science and Technology University.
Transport
The town is near National Highway 37, and connected to nearby towns and cities with regular buses and other modes of transportation. Mirza has Railway station, and nearest airport is Guwahati airport.
