Mishcon de Reya LLP is an alternative business structure. It became a limited liability partnership on 9 October 2015.
Founded by Victor Mishcon in Brixton in 1937, Mishcon de Reya LLP has offices in London and New York, employ more than 600 people, with over 300 lawyers and offer the following legal services to companies and individuals: corporate; dispute resolution; employment; family; private client; and real estate.
Notable clients
The firm gained attention when Anthony Julius represented Diana, Princess of Wales in her divorce.
A partner in the firm, barrister Charlotte Harris, has represented former UK Energy Minister Chris Huhne, who was alleged to have asked his (then) wife Vicky Pryce to take on his penalty points to avoid a driving ban for speeding. A trial was set for October 2012.[1] See R v Huhne and Pryce.
The firm's office was used by Leon Brittan for an interview amid allegations of rape, which he has denied, in June 2014: "The veteran Conservative figure, who was made a life peer in 2000, is understood to have been questioned by police at the central London offices of his lawyers Mishcon De Reya last month."[2]

Activism
In 2008, the firm launched the specialist ‘Pink Law’ Legal Advice Centre in conjunction with Queen Mary, University of London and two other city law firms. The project offers free and impartial legal advice on issues affecting the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community, such as employment discrimination, civil partnerships and cohabitation.[4]
