Mishipa Ñawin (local Quechua mishi cat (misi, michi), ñawi eye, -pa, -n suffixes,[2] "eye of a cat", Mishipa Ñawin a kind of potato[3] or a name for the common bean,[4] hispanicized spelling Mishipañahuin, also Mishipañahui which is grammatically wrong) is a 5,208 metres (17,087 ft) high mountain in the Andes of Peru. It is located in the Junín Region, Yauli Province, Marcapomacocha District. It lies northeast of Markapumaqucha at the shore of Markaqucha.[1][5]
