Miss World 1952, the second edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 14 November 1952 at the Lyceum Ballroom in London, UK. 11 contestants competed for the Miss World title. The winner was May Louise Flodin, who represented Sweden. She became the second Swede to win Miss World, after Kiki Håkansson who won the year before.

- Doreen Dawne (Britain) also competed in Miss World 1951, where she placed as the 2nd runner-up. This year she got one more chance to win the Miss World crown for Great Britain, but she failed yet again and did not place at all.
- 6 of the contestants of this year's Miss World pageant; Anne-Marie Pauwels (Belgium), Eeva Hellas (Finland), Nicole Drouin (France), Vera Marks (West Germany), Eithne Dunne (Ireland), and Sylvia Müller (Switzerland) also competed in Miss Europe 1952, held in Naples, Italy on 19 August. All of them failed to place, except from Nicole Drouin (France), who became the 1st runner-up.
