There is misinformation about the lyrics credits for this movie with most songs attributed to Arudra. Musicologist Raja spoke to the movie crew and found out the proper credits with proofs.[4] It is concluded that Arudra wrote only 2 songs (Adagavayya ayyagaari & Mayadari Krishnayya), rest all are written by Veturi. The surprise being that in the song "Sogasu chooda tarama", Mullapudi Venkata Ramana contributed a charanam ("pasipaapaku paalistuu...") as confirmed by his son.
- "Adagavayya Ayyagari Ekkuvemito Cheppamanu Aadavalla Thakkuvemito" (Lyrics: Arudra; Singers: S. P. Balasubrahmanyam and K. S. Chitra)
- "Mayadari Krishnayya" (Lyrics: Arudra; Singer: S. P. Balasubrahmanyam)
- "Mullu Poyyi Katti Vachche" (Lyrics: Veturi, Singer: S. P. Balasubrahmanyam)
- "Raade Cheli Nammaraade Cheli Magavari Nilaa Nammaraade Cheli" (Lyrics: Veturi; Singer: K. S. Chitra)
- "Sogasu Chooda Tharama Nee Sogasu Chooda Tharama" (Lyrics: Veturi, Mullapudi Venkata Ramana; Singer: S. P. Balasubrahmanyam, Humming : K. S. Chitra)[5]
