Mitsuki Sumoto (須本 光希 born 2 April 2001) is a Japanese figure skater.

Personal life

Sumoto was born on April 2, 2001 in Izumo, Shimane, Japan.[1]

Career

Sumoto made his debut at the 2011-12 Japan Novice Championships, where he placed 10th.

At the 2012-13 Japan Novice Championships, Sumoto finished 12th.

The following year, he placed 8th at the 2013-14 Japan Novice Championships.

2015-2016 Season

During the 2015-16 figure skating season, Sumoto debuted on the ISU Junior Grand Prix circuit. He started off his season by placing 7th at his Junior Grand Prix event in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
