Moaz Al-Sibaai (معاذ السباعي) is the chairman of Watan Syria, a civil society organization, founded in June 2012 in Istanbul, Turkey. He is also a member of the Syrian National Council.

Education

Born in the United Kingdom, he went to complete a BSc Maths/Computing. He then went on to complete a Master in Business and Administration (MBA), and a Master in Computing Science (MSc). He also has other certificates, such as Prince2, PMP and ITIL.

Activism

Moaz Al-Sibaai is the founder of SYAN foundation for development and charity. SYAN aims to support the Syrian civic society through training, development and effective communication. First SYAN forum was held in July 27-30-2011 and was attended by around 200 Syrian activists from across the world. In June 2012, SYAN became part of the umbrella organization WatanSyria.

In 2011, Moaz al-Sibaai was elected a member of the Consultative Council of the Antalya Conference for Change in Syria.[1] He is a founder member of Syrian dream Group, Syrian businesses Group in Riyadh, Syrian Businessmen Forum. He is also a board member of British Businesses Group in Riyadh,

While in UK, Moaz Al-Sibaai headed a number of voluntary organization in Britain and he participated in founding the Syrian Human Rights committee. He was in the Central Working Committee for Muslim Council of Britain(MCB).
