Modi Naturals

Modi Naturals is a natural oil processing company based in India. It is one of India's largest oil processing companies. It has marked its entry in the fast-moving consumer goods industry, which in India is expected to grow by Rs 140,000 crore by the year 2015.[1] Modi Naturals is a Bombay Stock Exchange listed company.

History

Modi Naturals was founded in 1974 by Mr. D. D. Modi. It was previously known as Anil Modi Oil Industries Limited which was later rechristened as Modi Naturals.

Modi Naturals Limited (previously Anil Modi Oil Industries Limited) was established in 1974 by the visionary entrepreneur Mr. D.D. Modi of the Modi Group. The journey began humbly, with an oil mill in 1974 and a solvent plant to manufacture rice bran oil in 1979 in Punjab. The company was listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange in 1985. Today, the company has an oil refining capacity of over 100,000 liters a day (100 tpd) and has won several national awards, such as the ‘Highest manufacturer of Rice Oil in India’.
