Mohani Tea Leaves Pvt. Ltd. is an Indian Tea company established in 1992. It is a regional tea brand in Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and has presence in Punjab, Madhya Pradesh and J&K. It is an ISO 22000 and HACCP certified company with BRC, an international quality certificate.

Mohani Tea blends and markets several sub brands under the Mohani umbrella brand in the north region through its wide network of C&FA’S Stockists and Distributors.

Mohani tea also supplies Private Label tea to the International and National retail chains like Walmart, Bharti, Auchan, Big Bazaar, D-mart, Spencers, Sahara and many more on an exclusive basis. Apart from black tea, Company is also selling Green Tea, Herbal Tea and Flavour teas.

Mohani tea with a capacity to produce 100 Metric Tons/day, markets brands like Mohani Gold, Evergreen Tea, Good Time Perfect, Special Tea, Big Cup Tea, Fresh Tea, Supreme Tea, Red Plus Tea, Dhaba Hotel Tea and Premium Tea Bags.

Mohani Tea Pvt. Ltd. Has started exporting value added tea bags to West African countries like Niger, Mali, Burkina Faso and other English and French colonies.

Company will start its bulk exports shortly.

History

Mohani Tea Leaves Pvt. Ltd. started its operation under the name Mohani Tea in the undivided Uttar Pradesh. In 1996, the partnership firm converted to private limited company. In 2001, it started its first factory and in 2002, the company established its 2nd factory.

  1. In 2005, Mohani Tea Leaves Pvt. Ltd. launched Mohani Gold, and Evergreen, two premium brands.
  2. In 2008, the company started its first Private label business with Bharti Wal-Mart. Same year it started its third manufacturing facility, totally dedicated to private label, Modern trade and Institutional sales.
  3. In 2009, the brand was launched in Punjab and MP States and started institutional business with CSD, CPC, Big Bazaar, etc.
  4. In 2010 and 2011, Mohani Tea Leaves Pvt. Ltd. opened offices in Kolkata and Noida, respectively.
  5. In 2013, company established tea tasting and sourcing offices in Siliguri and Guwahati.
  6. All tea tasting and buying activities are carried out by expert tasters and buyers, who have spent several years in big multinational tea companies.
  7. In 2014, Company built a “state of the art” warehouse measuring 70,000 Sq ft in Rania, Kanpur Dehat district which can accommodate up to 150,000 bags of the plantation tea to ensure full consistency in the end cup for the consumer even with extreme fluctuation in the quality of tea produced by plantations due to seasonality.
  8. In 2014, Company also launched in Bihar and Jharkhand
