Monetki [mɔˈnɛtki] (German: Sophienthal) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Ryn, within Giżycko County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) east of Ryn, 12 km (7 mi) south-west of Giżycko, and 79 km (49 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
The village has a population of 360.
