Money Observer
Money Observer is a monthly personal finance and investment magazine published by Moneywise Publishing Ltd. Moneywise Publishing Ltd. acquired Money Observer from the Guardian News Media in February 2008.
History and profile
First published in October 1979 [1] as a supplement in The Observer, the magazine has expanded from just 12 pages, to an average of 100 pages per issue. In addition to a string of successful share tips, the award-winning editorial team offers specific advice designed to help readers find great deals from savings accounts to stock broking.
In 2004 Interactive Investor bought Moneywise[2] and in 2008 Moneywise acquired Money Observer,[3] thus having Interactive Investor as their mother company.

- Winner of the Consumer Financial Magazine of the Year award 2001, 2002 & 2004 (category no longer exists)
- Best Consumer Financial Journalist (Association of Investment Trust Companies Journalist Awards, 2003 and 2008) – Andrew Pitts, Editor Money Observer. Andrew Pitts also holds the Financial Planning Certificate, awarded by the UK's Personal Finance Society
- Best Consumer Financial Journalist (Association of Investment Companies Awards, 2011 and 2012) – Ruth Emery, Managing Editor Money Observer
- Personal Finance Trade Newcomer of the Year (Santander Media Awards, 2012) – Holly Black, Staff Writer Money Observer
