Mongardino is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Asti in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 45 kilometres (28 mi) southeast of Turin and about 6 kilometres (4 mi) south of Asti. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 989 and an area of 6.7 square kilometres (2.6 sq mi).[1]
Mongardino borders the following municipalities: Asti, Isola d'Asti, and Vigliano d'Asti.
