Mongolian National University is a non-profit education institution in Mongolia.

Background

MNU has established cooperative relationships with 18 international universities and research institutions for exchange programs, joint research, and co-sponsored academic activities.

In Mongolia, only MNU students are trained in English for seven semesters. The curriculum gives MNU students an advanced knowledge of the language and leads to the ability speak English fluently.

History

Established in 1998, the Mongolian National University (MNU) is the largest no-governmental university in Mongolia. MNU has faculties, schools of learning and academic programs.

In 2014, 10,000 undergraduate and graduate students from all Mongolian provinces chose MNU as their university. MNU has eight branch schools and 20 faculty groups. Students can select from the 80 undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate programs at the MNU. Over 3,600 students have graduated from MNU. Ninety percent are employed.

MNU has cooperation agreements with university partners from Korea, Russia, China, Japan, USA, Norway, Canada, and Hainan University. As a result, MNU offers numerous student exchange programs and professor exchanges for lectures, academic studies and research work.
