Montae Russell is an American actor of stage, television and film, best known for his many performances on episodic television, which include his role as Dwight Zadro from the NBC television series ER.
Montae grew up in Pittsburgh, got his start at Barrett Middle School, and then as a teenager with the Kuntu Repertory Theatre He received his bachelor's degree in Communications/Business from the University of Pittsburgh, then received his MFA in Theatre from Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts.
Montae’s theatre work includes Broadway’s King Hedley II, Prelude to a Kiss, Thurgood (regional theatres), and in Los Angeles as Charlie “Bird” Parker in BIRD LIVES!
