Morten Nødgaard Albæk (born July 28, 1975) is a Danish business person, author and public speaker. He is the co-founder and CEO of a Danish investment firm, Voluntas A/S.

Academia

He has master's degree in History and Philosophy from Aarhus University. In 2008, he was named an Adjunct Professor in Philosophy and Education at Aalborg University.[1]

Career

Albæk started his career in Danske Bank [2] where he spent over six years in various marketing functions, eventually being SVP for innovation and customer insights. He pioneered the Financial Literacy Program, which was included as a case in the UN Global Compact’s yearbook.[3][4]

Albæk was the Chief Marketing Officer of the Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas from 2009 to 2015.[5] At Vestas, Morten Albæk was responsible for the concept WindMade, the world’s first global consumer label for a single energy source endorsed by the United Nations.[6] Additionally, Morten Albæk launched Wind for Prosperity,[7] an innovative business model to bring affordable and reliable electricity to impoverished and remote rural populations.[8]

Albæk is a frequent participant in Danish public life on a variety of topics and is the co-author of three books Generation Fucked Up? (2005),[9] Encounters Between What You Say and What You Do (2008)[10] and The Average Human Being..[11][12]
