Morton Everel Post (December 25, 1840 March 19, 1933) was a Delegate from the Territory of Wyoming.

Born in West Henrietta (near Rochester), Monroe County, New York, Post pursued an academic course in the Albion and Medina Academies, New York. He moved to Denver, Colorado, in 1860 and engaged in the freighting business between the Missouri River and Denver. He engaged in mining in Alder Gulch, Montana, in 1864. He served as delegate to the Democratic National Convention in 1864. He moved in 1867 to that portion of Dakota which is now Wyoming. He was county commissioner of Laramie County from 1870 till 1876. He served as member of the Territorial legislative council 1878-1880. He engaged in banking and stock raising near Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Post was elected as a Democrat to the Forty-seventh and Forty-eighth Congresses (March 4, 1881 March 3, 1885). He declined to be a candidate for renomination in 1884. He resumed banking and stock raising. He moved to California in 1895 and engaged in farming and fruit growing near Cucamonga and Alhambra. He retired in 1916 and resided in Los Angeles, California, until 1928 when he moved to Alhambra, California. He died in Alhambra on March 19, 1933. He was interred in Inglewood Park Cemetery in Inglewood, California.
