The soundtrack of the film has been given by Ramesh Vinayakam, while lyrics have been penned by M. Jeevan.[2][3] The album, featuring 5 songs, was launched on 25 July 2014 at Sathyam Cinemas with the principal cast and crew and celebrities including directors P. Bharathiraja and Prabhu Solomon, actor Sivakarthikeyan and producer R. B. Choudary in attendance.[4] The album opened to positive reviews from critics, with onlykollywood.com quoting "Three lovely melodies sans amplified-by-tech gimmicks. With pure, rustic and earthy tunes, Mosakutty is a brilliant album from Ramesh Vinayakam, one of the under-rated talents in Tamil film music." [5]

All lyrics written by M. Jeevan, all music composed by Ramesh Vinayakam.
