Moser Baer Solar Limitd (MBSL) is a subsidiary of Moser Baer India Limited, the 2nd largest optical media producer in the world. Moser Baer Solar Limited(MBSL) was launched to manufacture solar modules for the photovoltaic industry.[1]

- Multicrystalline Solar PV Cells(156mmx156mm)
Moser Baer multicrystalline solar cells are manufactured from purified polysilicon in a manufacturing plant that permits use of thin silicon wafers. The wafers are handled through non-contact Bernoulli grippers and moved horizontally on conveyor belts and rollers through various process steps resulting in stress-free cell. The cells are coated with silicon nitride (SiNx:H) anti-reflection layer using DVD sputtering to have uniform deposition ensuring maximum light capturing capability throughout their lifetime.

Moser Baer uses inline, horizontal, manufacturing line which is capable of delivering modules in multiple cell configurations. Product Family:

Moser Baer a-Si thin film modules are frameless Glass-PVB-Glass modules and are available in quarter, half and full size configurations offering a range of power outputs for different customer applications. These modules are used for large grid connected Photovoltaic Systems.
Global footprint
MBSL joined the select group of PV companies to have completed over 100 MW of installations under their own brand. The company manufactures its own cells, and its modules are suitable for use in all types of residential, commercial, industrial and customized applications for both roof-mounted and ground mounted installations. It has installations in Europe, Asia Pacific, Middle East & US. The sizes of installations span the complete range from small residential rooftops to utility scale farms. In USA, the company's installations spread across California, Texas, Vermont, Oregon, Colorada and Maine. Having partnerships with several EPC contractors, integrators, distributors and warehouses in California and New Jersey, Moser Baer has ambitious plans to increase its North American footprint.
