Mount Carmel College, Bangalore is a women's premier college established on 7 July 1948. It is in Vasanth Nagar of Bangalore, Karnataka, India. This college has courses for undergraduates as well as for postgraduates. This college is 'A+' accredited by NAAC and was awarded Five Stars by NAAC.The college is affiliated to Bangalore University but functions as autonomous institution. The college is also known for being one of the top colleges in India. Mount Carmel College is a member of 29 clubs and associations that conduct several events and competitions across the year.
Notable Fests
Cul Ah is the cultural fest of the college and is an event that brings students from across different walks of life to participate. The events range from Dumb Charades, dance, drama, music and academically driven contest like Math Quiz etc too.
Carpediem is a national level management fest organised by the college for students of management colleges across India.[1]
Cross Currents is the official fest of the Commerce department, which sees participation from over 25 colleges on an average.
