Mourigram or Maurigram is a densely populated town located in Howrah district in the Indian state of West Bengal. It has a good connectivity to Kolkata which is 12 km by road,and is 14 km from Howrah station. Maurigram flyover was constructed to avoid passage through railway tracks and to curb accidents and also to minimise traffic problems. Andul Road connecting this town to Kolkata. There are many private buses like Route 61 from Howrah station, minibuses from Saltlake, Ultadanga, Rajabazar of Kolkata and neighbourhood destinations are also available. One Govt.CTC bus route T1 also run between Rajabajar and Dhulagarh via Sealdah-Rabindra sadan-Vidyasagar Setu-Danesh sk lane-West Bank Hospital-Chunabhanti- Mauri-Andul. Andul Road is very narrow with the number of vehicles regularly increasing, so traffic jams is a common incident.

"Maurigram" or "MRGM" is a saburban rail station of south -Eastern railway under Kharagpur division.All EMU local trains except galloping stops here. So,it has a very good railway connectivity from Howrah to Mecheda,Panskura,Midnapore, etc.

Maurigram is well-known to all for Indian Oil Corporation Limited. Beside this, also there are very few industries at Maurigram. The town is somewhat economically stable but is deprived of its primary needs for development. Most people are educated and also very gentle. Most of them are businessman, or Government Employees. There are few schools;such as Nimtala high school, Maria's day school, Oxford high school, St.Thomas school and a Law college present. The nearest college is Prabhu Jagatbandhu College, which is affiliated to University of Calcutta.

Some have suggested the government should construct a Road to connect Andul Road and Kona Express Way near Mourigram Railway Station for quicker development of Andul-Mourigram area.
