Movin' on Pup is the third episode of the first season of Disney's Teacher's Pet, and the 3rd episode of the series overall. It premiered on ABC's One Saturday Morning in the United States on September 23, 2000.

Plot

On the morning of the N.A.S.T.Y exam (National Aptitude Scholastic Test Yearly), Leonard feeds Spot some of his food because his mother gave him too much so he can get the protein he needs for the exam. Most of the other students don't fare better when it comes to being overfed for the same exact reason. While Leonard struggles with the test, Scott sings out the answers while taking the test. The following week, Principal Stickler comes in and not only tells Scott that he's achieved the highest score on the exam in Fourth grade history, but that he is promoted to the Fifth grade. Scott is proud, claiming on the way to school the next day that by "this time next year, I could be in college". As Scott goes to his class, he finds that the class in general is much tougher, especially with his strict teacher. While Spot does a large amount of homework at home that night, Pretty Boy mocks him.

As Leonard and Scott walk to school the next day, some 5th grades ask why he's walking with a kindergartne. Leonard tell Scott to tell them that he's a Fourth grader, but he instead lies, not wanting to get on their bad side. At recess, the Fifth grade kids tell Scott to invite Leonard to play with them. But when Scott's back is turned, they end up "Trash canning" Leonard. When he notices that Leonard is all misty eyed and ends up stumbling between his words, causing Leonard to leave, Scott realizes that he's made a huge mistake in trusting the other Fifth graders. Scott later goes back to Mrs. Helpermans classroom, explaining how he feels out of place in the Fifth grade and asks her to return to the Fourth grade. Mrs. Helperman welcomes back Scott with open arms. As the school day ends, the Fifth graders end up "Trash canning" Scott since he's now considered a little kid by them again as Leonard manages to scare them away. As Leonard looks inside the trash can, he notices that Scott had taken off his clothes and is seen rolling around in the trash in enjoyment.
