Mr. Sampat is a 1952 Indian Bollywood film directed by S. S. Vasan and produced by Gemini Studios. It is based on R. K. Narayan's 1949 novel Mr. Sampath – The Printer of Malgudi, and stars Motilal, Padmini and Kanhaiyalal.[1][2]

Reception
1. Although Motilal received rave reviews for his performance, the film was a commercial failure.[1]
