Mukomuko is a regency of Bengkulu Province, Indonesia, on the island of Sumatra. It had a population of 156,312 at the 2010 Census, which has risen to 165,992 according to the latest (January 2014) official estimates. The capital of the Mukomuko Regency is Mukomuko town.
In the 18th and 19th Centuries, it was known to the British East India Company as "Moco Moco".
Administrative Districts
Mukomuko Regency is divided into fifteen districts (kecamatan): Ipuh, Air Rami, Malin Deman, Pondok Suguh, Singai Rumbai, Teramang Jaya, Teras Terunjam, Penarik, Selagan Raya, Kota Mukomuko (Mukomuko town), Air Dikit, XIV Koto, Lubuk Pinang, Air Manjunto and V Koto.
