Shree Subrahmanya Swamy Temple is situated in Muliyar village, which connects the Kasaragod – Jalsoor state highway at Muliyar Bridge (300 mtr south direction) and the Bovikana – Kanathur main road at Manjakkal (1km north direction) provides the pilgrims hassle-free approachability to this temple. It is believed that, a legendry ancient sage, “Kanwa Mahamuni” during his explore throughout the nation visited and stayed in this place.
