Multivision (Sri Lanka)

Ruhuna Multivision 2001 (shortened to just Multivision, also known as Comet Cable) was a pay TV service provider in Sri Lanka. Its competitors were Dialog TV,LBN and PEO TV.

Services

Multivision provided 19 international subscription television channels. These channels were obtained from their headend (Comet Cable). Recently before closure there were only 18 channels on the decoder; Channel 03 switched from Cartoon Network to Nickelodeon and vice versa throughout the day. Channel 7 switched from BBC World to Bloomberg Television sometimes, and Channel 5 switched from Ten Sports India to Ten Sports Pakistan according to the popular events being broadcast on one.
