The Municipal Annex, 68 Dale Street, Liverpool is next to the Municipal Buildings, Liverpool, the administrative headquarters of Liverpool City Council. It was built in 1883 to a design by F & G Holme as the base for the Conservative Club.[1]
It was acquired by the City Council and housed the education department. It was sold in the late 1990s. It is currently under redevelopment by Iliad group[2] to form part of the Layla Hotel.[3] HOwever Iliand sold out their share which was acquired by Hilton Hotels, who intend to open it as a DoubleTree.
