Muntiqucha (local Quechua munti tree; forest, Quechua qucha lake,[2][3][4] "tree lake" or "forest lake", hispanicized spelling Montecocha) is a mountain in the Andes of Peru, about 5,200 metres (17,060 ft) high. It is located in the Lima Region, Cajatambo Province, Cajatambo District. Muntiqucha lies south of the Waywash mountain range, southwest of Millpu and east of a mountain named Shawanaqucha.[1]
