Murray McCheyne Thomson was born in December 19, 1922[1] in Honan, China where his parents were Christian missionaries.[2] Thomson has founded many non-profits in Canada.[3] He was the 1990 recipient of the Pearson Medal of Peace for his work in peacekeeping and won the Order of Canada in 2001. Former Executive Director of CUSO
