Murry Sidlin

Murry Sidlin is an American conductor.

He is Ordinary professor of Conducting at Catholic University's Benjamin T. Rome School of Music.

His first position was with the Baltimore Symphony as assistant conductor under Sergiu Comissiona. Antal Doráti appointed Sidlin as resident conductor of the National Symphony Orchestra.

From 1996 to 2007 Sidlin was the artistic director for the Cascade Festival of Music in Bend, Oregon.

From 1994 to 2002 he was Resident Conductor with Oregon Symphony.

Sidlin is a member of Prague Society for International Cooperation, a respected NGO whose main goals are networking and the development of a new generation of responsible, well-informed leaders and thinkers.[1]
